This weekend Paul and I took the ferry over to visit his Mom in Silverdale. While there we stayed with her and also hung out with his brother Danny, sister-in-law Jaimi, and their daughter, Charlotte. We went out for dinner and checked out the Silverdale waterfront park. The next day we slept in, Paul made breakfast, and then we went to church with the family that afternoon.
On the way over to Silverdale, Paul took me to an El Salvadorian restaurant. For those of you who don't know, Paul lived in El Salvador for two years as a Mormon missionary. So he was excited to introduce me to authentic El Salvadorian pupusas. He also ordered "Cola Champagne" for us, which is the popular beverage there (El Salvador's Guarana). I would describe it as a sweet, fruity creme soda. Delish!
