Here are some random thoughts, happenings, what-have-you, as of late:
1. Good job. Cindi and I went to Seattle and walked around Greenlake on Tuesday night. Everytime someone would jog toward us she said she wanted to say "Good Job!" to them as they ran past for getting up and going jogging. My reaction was either to make fun of them, complain about how out of shape I am, or compare myself to the heavier people around us. I wonder who the better person is?? :)
2. American Idol. When I heard that David Cook won I was about to be totally shocked but then I realized that was more effort than I was willing to put into American Idol. Although, I want to start a Paula "quote of the week" next season. This goal is inspired by the time she told DC, "I just looked up and saw you standing there in your truth." I won't quote Randy because how many times can you type "Good lookin' out, dog?"
3. Fully compostable. Microsoft is switching all their cups, plasted, etc... from polystyrene to biodegradable paperboard which will be recycled right along with any food waste. My reaction? I'm fine with that.
4. BEV'S BACK IN TOWN. Bev got into town last night and a few of us met up with her at Cactus in downtown Kirkland. It is so great to see Bev and her super cute new bangs. Because my camera was stolen, I couldn't annoy everyone by taking tons of pictures like I usually do but hopefully I'll get a few shots before she leaves on Monday.
5. Indiana Jones. Paul and I are going to see it tonight and I have not heard good things. But Bev is going and since I'm stalking her while she's in town, we have to go to the movie.

I will fully support the Paula quote of the week. The hardest part will be deciding which one to post because there are so many. My favorite from the final show . . .
"And Paula, phrasing things in her own unique way, added, "You two are truly amazing. It's odd that it's called the finale when it's anything but the final — it's the beginning of the start of the destinies of your career. I'm so proud. And just remember sometimes you think it's all about winning but it's the things sometimes that we lose that remind us of how truly special we are as people."
Those pics of random peeps reminded me sooo much of Telegraph Ave. at UC Berkeley! LOL. Good times. Good times. Those of us that did not matriculate from there would walk around and act like we did...lol. it was fun anyways.
I love the quote of the week idea ;). I gave up AI this year. But before giving it up, I just fast forwarded through all Paula statements because they were so bad, and apparantly, have gotten worse this year.
I am so happy about Microsoft going fully compostable! Actually, I'm sort of surprised that it's taken them this long. My agency doesn't even recycle, unfortunately.
sadly, i have no pics from the weekend either. and even more sad is the fact that i didn't get to hang out with you again. as soon as the movie ended chettra was all up in my grill asking where you were, but neither of us could find you guys? did you sneak out early?
anyways, 2 things...1-i'm getting a head start on my june goal by writing on here and 2-hanging out with you reminded me just how much i missed you!!
