The Fighters of the Foo

THIS SHOW WAS INCREDIBLE. They played about the first 7 songs without even pausing between songs. Finally when Dave said something all he said was, "You didn't come here to hear some bull$*#% hour and a half show." Their set ended up being about two and a half hours! They played just about everything they have ever done and they were amazingly energetic the entire time. They even had another stage set up at the other end of the arena where they did a whole acoustic set including the quietly earth-shattering "Everlong." (see video below) Actually, that song might have been my favorite because while he was playing, the rest of the band went back to the mainstage and they ended up doing the last half of the song in the original format. There was hardly any talking but he did tell one funny story from when he lived in Seattle about the old Tower Records that used to be near the Seattle Center. Also, Dave did all the classic guitar stances - power stance, one foot on the speaker, the Angus Young head bang, and more. Foo Fighters rocked my world!!

I'm going on July 29 and I can't wait! I specifically got tickets by the second stage because they were so great the first time around.
