Abominable Snowman

Paul has been making the most of our crazy snowfall by taking advantage of the recreational opportunities it has presented. The day after Christmas he and his brothers went snowboarding. They had great snow and had a super fun day on the slopes. If I was a good wife I would be happy for them, but I am selfish and just pouted most of the day wishing that I could be out on the slopes too!

Then last week Paul went snowshoeing with the scouts (he is Scoutmaster). The shot below is of him and one of the scouts on one of their breaks in powder tromping. He had a brand new pair of snowshoes to break in, given to him by his sweet and wonderful wife who had to talk to some of the biggest hippies and weirdos to research the purchase. They also had a great time and I'm glad that Paul is living it up now before he's knee deep in diapers for his daughter and bags of frozen peas for his wife.
