Square Root Day

Last Tuesday was Square Root Day (3/3/9). Paul and I celebrated with some frosty mugs of delicious Henry Weinhard Root Beer. Considering Square Root Day only happens nine times a century, I kind of thought we should do more but that's okay. I have plenty of time to plan for the next one (4/4/16). For those of you who didn't know about Square Root Day, you need more math geek friends. We are good for lots of things, not just math holidays. But speaking of math holidays, start getting ready for one of my favorites, coming up on Saturday - Pi Day! (3/14) I think it's obvious how you celebrate Pi Day. For thos in the Seattle area, I will give you my recommendation: Pies 'n' Pints. Math never tasted so good!
