The Rollover Controversy

By now most of you have probably noticed the video I posted on the side of my blog of Leah rolling over. There has been much controversy in my family swirling around this video. Leah first performed the trick featured in the video at my sister's house a couple days before Paul arrived. But then she wouldn't do it again the whole time he was there. An hour after he left she was in a good mood and doing it over and over, and one of the times I made the video in question.

Being the proud mother that I am, I immediately showed it to my Mom who said that it looked more like she fell over. NOT something to say to a first time Mom. I had a conniption fit and she backed off. Then I emailed it to my family and this was the exchange between my brother Eric and my Mom:

Eric: "Does that count as a rollover?! It sort of looks like she just fell sideways..."
Mom: "That's what I said and all heck broke out and I got told off royally!! Now Esther said she isn't going to send me any more videos if that is how I am going to talk! I now am saying she rolls over really well, better than any other baby that was ever born!"

You can just imagine I did not take any of that well. The other day she rolled over from her back to her front which I guess is considered a "REAL" rollover so I was trying to get it on video but of coure she won't repeat it now. But I decided I don't care if anyone thinks it counts as rolling over because I rolled over really late as a baby and look, I turned out to be a genius. Plus, she looks pretty darn cute in that video regardless.
