7 Hills

Paul's bikes were recently stolen and with our awesome homeowner's insurance, he was able to replace them with two new sweet rides. Since he is trying to train for the STP, he is always looking for an opportunity to use them but that can be a challenge with family and schedules. Last month I told him about the 7 Hills of Kirkland ride/race on Memorial Day and said that he could do it as long as I hadn't had the baby. I considered this a perfect situation because I thought there was no WAY that I would still be pregnant at that point but I would still get credit for encouraging him to do it. Alas, I WAS still pregnant so Leah and I (and my belly) hung out in downtown Kirkland to welcome him across the finish line. As you can tell by the name, the race is basically seven hills in a row. Not my idea of fun but Paul enjoyed it and got a great workout.
