All you have to do is ask!

Yesterday there was an email sent out to a email list I am on at work where people buy and sell tickets. A guy made a post saying he had tickets for the Sonics last night, center court, sixth row (face value of tickets was $130 EACH). It was a last minute thing so he said he would take the best offer. Paul and I actually had a bunch of stuff we needed to get done so I sent him an embarrassingly low offer, saying that if he was desperate we would buy them and if not he could just ignore the email. Lo and behold, 30 minutes later he said that mine was the only offer he got and he was happy to not let them go to waste. He accepted the offer and emailed me the tickets and two hours later we were at the game! It was a roller coaster of emotions with the Sonics starting the game behind and then overtaking the Wizards with a 13 point lead at one point and then blowing the lead to lose 104-99. Paul and I watched the game with my boss Steve Ballmer who was sitting with Mitch Levy, KJR's morning host. Good times.
