It all started several months ago when Sonya told me about a hilarious video clip of John Mayer and Justin Long arguing about Ron Paul. The (staged) scene was "caught" by TMZ and posted online. During the clip John Mayer is screaming at Justin Long about Ron Paul including the phrase "RON PAUL KNOWS THE CONSTITUTION!!!" We just thought it was hilarious and would say that phrase any time Ron Paul's name came up.
Fast foward to my bachelorette party in NYC where I get a baseball-style tee that says, "I (heart) Paul." I am wearing said shirt the day before our open house in Arizona when my brother, stirring up trouble, says to a family friend (Suzanne):
Eric: "I didn't know Esther liked Ron Paul so much!"
Suzanne: "She does?!?"
Eric: "Well look at her shirt!"
A shocked Suzanne waited another TWO HOURS to gather the prescence to ask me, "So Esther, tell me a little about why you are such a big supporter of Ron Paul." I have NO idea what she is talking about or why she's asking me that but I just involuntarily respond by yelling "RON PAUL KNOWS THE CONSTITUTION!" and then walk away.
It wasn't until that night when we all figured out what had happened.
The icing on the cake is the following picture Sonya snapped of some graffiti she saw in NYC:

life has a way of coming full circle. I think it's a sign. I'm not sure what it's a sign of, but it is not just a coincidence that Steph got you that shirt. It's not a coincidence that John Mayer supports him, and it's not a coincidence that even today you can drive around and see more signs for Ron Paul then any other candidate...After reading this blog, I think I know who I'm going to vote for. Do you think I could get one of those shirts?
I'm glad that my boyfriend and I could provide some entertainment.
