Muscle Beach

As many of you know, Paul and I were in Southern California for the long weekend. We did a "condo swap" with some friends down there and it worked out great. We had a super fun weekend so I'll be posting a handful of the highlights over the next couple days.

The first highlight is when we happened upon the backstage area of a "contest" going on near Venice Beach. Here are a few of the contestants: Sick right!?! I know! I was mesmerized by them, I just stood there staring and taking pictures. It was fantastic. Why do they have to be so slimy/oily, too?? Anyway, one of the contestants was pretty happy with all the attention so she came over and did some poses just for us: She had the voice of Barry White, I kid you not. She was telling me some of the names of the poses. I believe that one above was a "lat spread" ? Anyway, it was so messed up, I loved it. BUT, the best part of all, look at the guy who was holding her bag and handing her water/towels, etc...: There are so many things I can say about him but really the best part is that he couldn't physically pull those pants up any higher if his life depended on it. How did these two people end up together?? So great!!!
