HELP!
Leah and I have yet to attend an entire church meeting since she was born, but I was determined to make it last Sunday. I picked out our clothes Saturday night, showered, blow-dried my hair, bathed Leah, and basically did everything I could think of to save time in the morning. Not surprisingly, we were still 20 minutes late. What the Weller?!? I don't know what the deal is and why a 12-pound person can derail you that much! Not to be dissuaded, we re-grouped and put that minor setback behind us. We made it through the first part but after Sunday School Leah started crying fairly loudly. I figured she needed to eat so I took her into the mother's lounge. About 20 minutes later I texted Paul, "HELP!" He came into the room and saw the following: our stuff was strewn ALL over, my shirt was completely open and had a big pool of barf on it, Leah had a major blowout up her back and through her clothes and I looked like I was about to lose it. I just looked at Paul and said, "Take me home, NOW" which he did. Oh well, it was a good try!

OH YES. That will probably happen again, too. I hate to tell you that.
But there is hope.
One day you will be at all three meetings. You may not hear much during them, but you will be there for all three. :)
I think I need to get one of those so that I have a good excuse to miss most of church.
I still have yet to make it through an entire church meeting, and my little guy is 7 months old now. Everyone tells me welcome to motherhood.
Sounds like quite a Sunday Esther! I'm glad Paul is the one that opened the door and not someone else. Best of luck next week. You can do it, you can do it...
Oh Leah, you are tricky like that!
Hang in there Esther. It gets easier over time. Just take it one Sunday at a time. The story did put a funny picture in my mind though and made me laugh. Mainly because it's happened to me lots too.
Read "Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child." That is the one book that will SAVE you!!! It's the BEST book and was sold out at three stores I went to.
