Having a baby has definitely made me cut back on some of my normal recreational activities, but Mariners Opening Day is not optional. I have not missed an opening day yet (well, since I moved here in 2000). So this year was my 10th annual, and Leah's 1st annual.
We Wellers went with Eric, Randal, and Sonya, who was in town for the week. It was a great day at the park - sunny and warm in the sun - the best way to enjoy a game. Safeco was looking as good as ever. The only disappointment was that Ichiro was injured but all in all it was a great day. Leah observed the occasion in her first (but certainly not last) bit of baseball paraphernalia - a pink M's hat. Go M's!!
