Leah's favorite thing about October is definitely pumpkins. She was very into them this year. Her interest focused mainly on identification (i.e. yelling "Punkie, Punkie!!!" every time she saw one). One day I bought her a mini-pumpkin at the store on my way to the mall with her. While on 8th she dropped it and it rolled into the road, immediately being smashed by a passing truck and exploding all over the road. I kept it together but Paul burst out laughing. We couldn't help it, her face was priceless. She was (for once) speechless and had the worst look on her face. Luckily she was easily distracted and the pumpkin quickly replaced. We took her to the same pumpkin patch as last year. It's crazy how different she looks.
Her second favorite thing about Halloween was dressing up. We got her a Foofa costume from her favorite TV show. She was in heaven. There were a lot of people who had no idea who she was but she didn't care. She rocked that costume like she was on a runway. She was also thrilled with the whole trick-or-tread concept. Unlike her mommy she exercised excellent self-control and only took one candy from each bucket even when encouraged to take more.
Andrew, on the other hand, was not too much of a fan of the costume. He basically had this expression on his face that said, "what are you doing to me?!" And let's be honest, it's a valid question. Paul and I had a couple Halloween parties to attend so we dressed up too. We found some hideous polyester clothes and together we dressed up as "100% Polyester." Awesome.

I guess the thing that scares me a little is that those clothes atleast in the pic don't look 1/2 bad on you guys! LOL.
I'm getting old.
